"Ukrainian forces have more tanks on the ground than their Russian counterparts, according to a senior U.S. defense official.

“Right now, the Ukrainians have more tanks in Ukraine than the Russians do … and they certainly have the purview to use them,” the official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity under terms set by the Pentagon."
