Schön, wie der deutsche Panik-Journalismus funktioniert. Die Wahl von Trump wird weltpolitisch eine ganze Menge Probleme auslösen (Ukraine, China etc.), aber sie löst nicht den Untergang der Zivilisation aus. Die USA im Dezember 2024 wird sich kein Deut unterscheiden von der USA im Dezember 2023, in die du wahrscheinlich ohne nachzudenken geflogen wärest.

A victory for Donald Trump in November’s presidential election could lead to an additional 4bn tonnes of US emissions by 2030 compared with Joe Biden’s plans, Carbon Brief analysis reveals.

This extra 4bn tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (GtCO2e) by 2030 would cause global climate damages worth more than $900bn, based on the latest US government valuations.

For context, 4GtCO2e is equivalent to the combined annual emissions of the EU and Japan, or the combined annual total of the world’s 140 lowest-emitting countries.

UC Berkeley scholars warn that “with plans to expand the production of fossil fuels, curtail environmental regulations, dismantle key climate monitoring agencies and even undermine the Endangered Species Act, there is no question that Project 2025 would be disastrous for the climate.”

Project 2025, despite his dishonest denials, is Trump’s plan to gut the U.S. government, developed for the Heritage Foundation by Trump hangers-on.
