Kleine Ergänzung noch, mit den Worten von Gavin Newsom. Gut, der ist jetzt nicht die Amerika-Expertin Annika Brockschmidt, aber passt vielleicht trotzdem:

Ähnlich passend auch ein Tweet, den ich gestern irgendwo gesehen habe: I dont support what happened to Charlie, but Charlie supported what happened to Charlie.
