Does the referee have to stop play for a head injury?
If a player is injured, but no foul/offence is committed and the ball remains in play, the referee should: ➡ stop play if the injury is, or appears to be, serious (especially in the case of a head injury) ➡ allow play to continue if a player is, or appears to be, only slightly injured (unless a head injury)
