Thank you for your message. Yes, Tom Finney was something special. Kenny Dalglish once asked Bill Shankly who was the best he'd seen. Shankly replied something along the lines of "Tom Finney, even if he had his overcoat on". He remained in Preston all of his life (aside from military duty) and was a true sportsman, and one of the best footballers whoever lived.
