The military arm of the European Union is running a hub in Poland in charge of sending weapons to Ukraine, according to the spokesperson for France’s armed forces ministry, Hervé Grandjean. French Vice-Admiral Hervé Bléjean, the director-general of the European Union Military Staff, is in charge of “collating the needs of the Ukrainians” said the spokesperson. “He’s in charge of running the pipelines so to speak, matching the needs of the Ukrainian army and what the member states can offer,” he said. The French weapons deliveries transit through this hub.
