Germany – 93.4% to claim an extra UCL spot

Germany are in a superb position now and are so highly favoured to secure an extra Champions League spot that they could mathematically claim it tonight, though with several results going their way.

For that to happen, Bayer Leverkusen would have to defeat West Ham, which would add +0.428 points to Germany and put them at a total of 18.070. To mathematically secure the Top 2 they would then need this scenario:

- Liverpool to lose to Atalanta

- Aston Villa to eliminate Lille, but not win tonight

- Benfica to eliminate Marseille, result doesn't matter

In that case, England could claim a maximum of only 18.000 points. France could claim a maximum of 18.083 points if one of their clubs goes through tonight, so that's why Germany needs both French clubs to get eliminated
